Parenting is a learn as you go process. Just when you think you have it down, your child will enter a new stage of development and everything changes. It is important to remember that every child is different and that there is not a one size fits all parenting method. The 3 most important things you can do as a parent are: pray for wisdom in how to to parent each child most effectively, get to know your child as an individual so you can better understand what makes him/her “tick” and understand his/her gifts and challenges, and do some research on the stages of childhood development so you know what to expect from your child at each age.
